Dr. Sarder received a seed grant titled “Integrating Genomics and Image Features for Computational Prognostication of Diabetic Nephropathy” from the State University of New York!
In this project, we will develop a data fusion method to integrate whole-slide renal tissue histology image data and genomic spatial transcriptomics data from the same tissue locale to study diabetic nephropathy. This is our lab’s first grant in genomics!
