In a recent virtual meeting with the NEPTUNE-CureGN consortium, PhD student Samuel Border introduced the FUSION tool to practicing pathologists, aiming to gather crucial feedback and recruit participants for a usability study. FUSION, which integrates segmentation algorithms with spatial transcriptomics data, is designed to enhance pathology workflows. Engaging with pathologists is key to refining the tool to better meet clinical needs, ultimately improving efficiency, accuracy, and quality in medical practice.
