Dr. Pinaki Sarder, PI of the CMI lab, recently served on the Advisory Committee and as a session moderator at the AI4Health Conference, held at Disney’s Yacht Club on April 23, 2024. Dr. Sarder co-moderated the session titled “Clinical Applications of AI in Precision Health: Digital Pathology, Spatial Biology, and AI.”
The session featured distinguished speakers, including Dr. Sizun Jiang from Harvard University, Dr. Ulysses G.J. Balis from the University of Michigan, and Dr. Derek Allison from the University of Kentucky. The discussions focused on AI-driven approaches in spatial-omics, the integration of AI tools in clinical pathology workflows, and the future intersection of digital pathology and spatial biology.
Notably, Dr. Sarder personally invited Dr. Ulysses G.J. Balis, who delivered an exceptional talk on the integration of AI tools in clinical pathology.
