Dr. Sarder showcases AI-Powered Image Analysis for HuBMAP at PMWC 2025

Dr. Pinaki Sarder presented on “Advanced Image Analysis and Data Integration in the Human Biomolecular Atlas Program (HuBMAP)” at the 2025 Precision Medicine World Conference (PMWC). His research focuses on AI-driven tools for mapping human tissues at the cellular level and creating a high-resolution, open-access Human Reference Atlas. He highlighted how his team integrates deep learning-based histology with spatial-omics technologies to identify cellular interactions within functional tissue units, providing insights into disease mechanisms, tissue regeneration, and precision medicine. Dr. Sarder also discussed FUSION, a platform that aligns molecular and morphological data to improve biomedical analysis. His work, with applications in chronic kidney disease and acute kidney injury, is supported by multiple NIH and DoD grants and is advancing biomedical discovery and precision medicine.
