Kidease

Kidease is a platform for AI-assisted digital pathology and clinical decision support in kidney disease, built for nephrologists, pathologists, and transplant researchers. The platform integrates whole-slide image management, computational histopathology, and clinician-facing evaluation dashboards to support kidney transplant donor evaluation and diabetic nephropathy assessment.

The application enables researchers and clinicians to:

  • Integrate and visualize kidney-related clinical and pathology data. It provides an interactive whole-slide image viewer with layered annotation tools (draw, edit, version history, compare/restore).
  • Banff chronic scoring (ci, ct, cv, ah) and Remuzzi scoring for donor kidney evaluation, with configurable “Custom Run” pipelines so researchers can select specific processing steps without committing to a full run.
  • Support AI-assisted analysis of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and kidney transplant data.
  • Provide interactive tools for researchers and clinicians to explore longitudinal patient information and disease progression.
